Aislin (pronounced ASHlin) had a special day this year. On Feb 18th, aka ASH WEDNESDAY, I received this text from a good friend referring to her 4-year-old:
“[she] thought today was “Aislin’s Day” instead of “Ash Wednesday”. She thought it was going to be cupcakes and party time- instead she’s getting dirt on her face at mass and piety!”
So here’s to Aislin’s Day; A day to celebrate my funny, smart, independent, resourceful, tender-hearted daughter. She is a blessing to us, bringing so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives.
Happy Aislin’s Day!
My hero !
Mine too!! I am beyond grateful and fortunate to be her Mommy!
