We spent the next day touring Charleston. We went on a walking tour with Mary Helen from Two Sisters Walking Tours .  The tour lasted just over 2 hours and was absolutely fabulous.  I can’t imagine visiting Charleston any other way.  Mary Helen is vivacious, energetic,  well spoken, and has lived in Charleston since childhood.  We had so much fun on the tour.  Before the tour Aislin expressed concern that it would be hot and we would be walking for two hours and her tennis shoes are too small..halfway through the tour she asked Mary Helen if we could make the tour longer.  Charleston is beautiful, has done a lot over the years to preserve its historic buildings many of which  date back to the revolutionary war.   DSC00983

  1. Charleston is lovely. I can imagine Scarlett O’Hara swishing around with her fancy parasol.
