Happy Birthday!

Once again I got to celebrate another birthday on the boat. Except this year, I was not actually on the boat. My goal was to be out of the marina, and since the boat was still waiting on the port engine to be repaired we rented a hotel room in New Smyrna Beach.

What a perfect way to spend my birthday; playing in the water, building sandcastles, playing in the pool, reading, and spending time with my family. Even my brother Eric was able to drive over and spend time with us. The night before my birthday I was up all night with Ben who had a stomach bug. So Ben and I slept most of the actual day.
