Time to deck the halls on Wonderstruck and get it ready for Christmas. We set the mood with the Jimmy Buffett Christmas Island CD and went to work. We hung lights along the lifelines and around the cockpit. The weather was perfect, there was a nice breeze in the air. Kim and Benjamin were stringing lights with zipties while Aislin cut the ends. Everyone was singing along to the music. You know how as a mother sometimes you have those moments, you want to take a still shot, you want to package them up to open and unfold and ponder later, you want to always remember this moment right now. This was one of those moments. I have so much love for my family, so much gratitude.

We even have a little Christmas tree. (named Little Sebastian by Aislin)
Not to be outdone Aislin has her own tree as decoration in her room complete with 2 stockings for her fish, Freddy and Frank
This is my attempt to be crafty and spent an afternoon making garland out of leftover ornaments and jingle bells–true boat style using fishing line and zip ties.
And of course, stockings hung and ready for Santa
