Mothers’ day is always a pretty big deal in the Kelley family and this time the kids went over the top. The kids planned and put on a wonderful Mother’s Day Celebration on Wonderstruck. It started with breakfast in bed…pancakes and coffee. Then they presented us with our gifts. They had spent several days in the week doing “art class” with Sue and Paul on Odyssey. Sue had taught them how to make jewelry, and even fold paper into little gift boxes.
Aislin made me matching turquoise necklace, earrings, eyeglass holder and bracelet. Ben made Kim a blue necklace, earrings, bracelet and ring. They did such a great job! After our gifts we were then pampered with pedicures.
The kids made subs for lunch and then we went to a celebration at the Brunswick Marina clubhouse. We spent the rest of the day just relaxing, readying, and recharging. Thank you Benjamin and Aislin. It was a perfect Mothers’ Day.
Aislin ! seriously I need to learn how to make those little boxes…they are so precious…great job! Love the turquoise nail polish too. 🙂
